Heritage West Coast was established to facilitate regional coordination amongst the large number of heritage groups in the region. Forums are held twice a year with leading guest speakers. A regional heritage strategy has been produced, a very popular footprints tourism brochure has been produced and reproduced on many occasions and a website is under development. Jackie Gurden has taken a voluntary leading role in this work having chaired the organisation since inception and she provides ongoing administrative support as required.
